Shop Local Program Winner!

On October 15th, the Pincher Creek & District Chamber of Commerce launched the Shop Smart Shop Local program to make people aware of how important local shopping is for our community. 34 local businesses joined the program and gave out stamps for every purchase made in their store. By shopping local and saving points, people could enter to win $2,000 worth of fuel, donated by the Pincher Creek Co-op Gas Bar.
This Shop Smart Shop Local Program ended on January 15th. This first edition proved to be a big success. Over 15,000 local purchases were made in the participating stores during the saving program that ran from October 15th till January 15th.
Today, Bruce Buckingham, Chamber President, drew the winner out of more than 1,000 entries!
The Chamber is happy to announce Marion Johnson as the winner.
